JOSHUA "JJ" VALLOW, TYLEE RYAN, TAMMY DAYBELL, & CHARLES VALLOW: State of Idaho/Arizona vs. Lori *GUILTY* & Chad Daybell for murder

Police seem to be no closer to finding 7-year-old Joshua “JJ” Vallow and 17-year-old Tylee Ryan than they were when this story began months ago.

Since that time, the story has gained international attention as it’s taken twists and turns involving a purported cult, dead spouses, delusions of divinity and preparing for the end of the world. Despite all the angles, and the ever-growing number of people related to the case, the facts remain essentially the same as when it was first announced.

The two children remain missing and the parents, Lori (Vallow) Daybell, and her new husband, Chad Daybell, refuse to disclose their whereabouts to police. Both have been named persons of interest in the disappearance of the children. Law enforcement is also investigating the deaths of the Daybells’ previous respective spouses, Charles Vallow and Tammy Daybell, though neither Chad nor Lori have been named suspects in those cases.

None of these charges appear to give cause to asking for discovery regarding the death of spouses. Hmm.

I just got this on YouTube and I wasn't sure if you guys had seen it. I don't remember seeing it before? It looks like they're pretty close to making a murder case out of Tammy's death. There's also a couple of other tidbits in this three and a half minute video.

I sure wish they would get them on something other than her current charges with all of these deaths surrounding them. They both need to be in jail and on charges where there is no question of bond. Tammy Daybell's autopsy results seem to be taking forever. I just read that her headstone was recently placed but I don't suppose that means anything, they usually come in some length of time after a death. Or does it? Fresh flowers at it, I wonder if Chad and children were there... No further comment...

I don't remember seeing this link in here before. This is the 911 call when Alex Cox was dying. I hope the guy that made this call is nowhere near me if I have an emergency! While I was listening to this, I wanted to scream.

Wow. I have never seen this posted nor heard it before.

The new wife's son didn't know AC married his mom who was a close friend of Lori's.
Also ... the brunette in this clip is AC's widow accompanying Melani in February to a court hearing.

Ah, interesting. I don't know if I knew about her attending court with Melani. I get to thinking Melani might be innocent but then I remember her and Alex's odd quick marriages. And then the two are together here? This case is so WEIRD. Or perhaps I should say the players in the case are so odd and weird as are their "activities".

I'd love to know about Alex having any life insurance policies.

I hope we're not dealing with a cult of black widows?

It's about what it looks like isn't it? Why else dump one spouse and quickly marry another you hardly know like in Melani's case and even Lori's case? And Alex? Life insurance or marital assets or both is about all I can figure but then why was the other person willing to marry? They must have told them or convinced them of something...

I wonder about the relationship of Lori with Zulema even more because there's some connection between the two that could hold more information about this case.

I'm sitting here trying to think of why Alex's wife's daughter's boyfriend didn't know Alex was married to the mother. I mean, wouldn't he know that if he knew them well enough to be at their house? Or when he was talking to 911, would n't his girlfriend say "no they are married, he's her husband"? Just doesn't make sense at all.

Did you notice he did not know Alex's last name when the 911 operator asked him?

Well, the son was 25 and probably wasn't told. Remember there were no witnesses at their wedding and Alex requested that his last name on the certificate be listed as his new wife's.
Yeah, it reminds me of the falsehoods or lack of information Chad's son had when telling a neighbor he was on a business trip in Hawaii when he met a widow and married her. It kind of fits "their" pattern.

The whole situation just REEKS of evil.

I was just going to say something similar to your post above. This kid was he wrapped up in it or was he worried that something very bad was going on? He either happens to come home and find Alex OR was home when something happened or worse yet was involved. I mean he has to already wonder, a new boyfriend, never knew they were married and then this happens to someone who one would think is a stranger to him. Did he suspect things with his mom and her "friends". Who knows... Was he just the one told to find him and call 911 and act like a clueless kid? One really ODD and evil case.

She's gonna have to suck it up. The virus has affected ALL of us. Yes, everyone deserves a fair process and a fair trial. But we're literally in the middle of a global health pandemic, and she is at the bottom of the list of people I care about it affecting negatively.

Vallow's lawyer claims virus has affected her rights

Lori Vallow’s legal rights have been affected by the Madison County court system’s efforts to prevent the spread of COVID-19, her lawyer claims.

Vallow’s attorney, Mark Means, argued in a court filing that she has been subjected to several unlawful practices in jail. Madison County Prosecuting Attorney Rob Wood said the actions are due to new coronavirus procedures.

Vallow’s argument came in an amended motion for the reduction of her $1 million bond. Vallow is requesting to orally argue for bond reduction before Judge Michelle Mallard. It is Vallow’s fourth motion for bond reduction.

In an accompanying affidavit, Means laid out what happened in the Madison County Jail that has led him to further believe in the importance of Vallow being able to post bond and be released from jail.

Means said on March 30 he traveled to Rexburg to meet with Vallow in order to prepare for her next preliminary hearing. When he arrived at the jail he was not allowed to meet in the standard fashion, he said. Instead, the “sole option of communication with (his) client” was speaking over a recorded telephone line in a “public visitor meeting room” with a wall of glass between them. Means was also told the only way for him to give Vallow documents for her to review was for the documents to be passed through a side door at which time they were out of sight of both Means and Vallow.

Means argued that the restrictions and communications methods were unlawful and violated Vallow’s right to communicate privately with her attorney.

Five days after the motion for another bond reduction hearing was filed, Wood filed an objection to Vallow’s motion.

“It is important to note that the reason for the current visitation restrictions currently in place at the Madison County jail are a response to the recent COVID-19 outbreak. The safety of both the inmates and employees is of the utmost importance to Madison County, the Sheriff’s Department, and the Prosecutor’s Office,” Wood wrote.

Means also wrote in his April 2 court document that he believed Vallow’s right to due process had been violated since no hearing had been set regarding her bond reduction. On April 9 Wood told Justin Lum of Fox 10 Phoenix that, though not officially set, a preliminary hearing for April 17 is tentatively planned.
