CATHY KRAUSENECK: New York vs. James Krauseneck Jr. for the 1982 murder of his wife *GUILTY*
I'm having a hard time remembering the dates, but I got a job at a little drug store here in Rochester around March or April 1982. In February 1982 there had been a murder in Brighton, which is the town where the drugstore was located. The wife was killed with an axe and the husband ended up moving away. My boss's attorney was a guy who was connected pretty well with Brighton police. He told my boss that they were positive the husband killed her, they just didn't have the evidence. My boss, one of the best human beings I've ever met, knew both of them. His wife and that couple were friends. My boss said any time they went over there, she was very friendly, and he was just quiet and strange. He said he believed the husband did it too...

NICOLE & JASMINE SNYDER: PA vs Marie Snyder & Echo, Ronald, & Michele Butler for starvation and abuse deaths of Marie's daughters *GUILTY PLEAS*
I haven't done a case thread in a long, long time so an admin may need to fix/change this or move its spot if incorrect. This is a case I for one have never heard of. This starts out with the initial story, some arrests last year and now more arrests so watch the 15 minutes or so throughout to see what happened then and is happening now. This is before Covid and yet another story of how kids were claimed to be elsewhere and more. Not only is the mother and her girlfriend charged but now the girlfriend's mother and father as well who they were living with. I don't know how a case like this is basically unheard of. Of course the investigation I guess was ongoing but still why is there not news now???

On Friday in Yamhill County Circuit Court, attorneys for Michael John Wolfe, 52, argued for dismissing the aggravated murder charge Wolfe faces for allegedly murdering 3-year-old William "Billy" Fretwell, his biological son.
