Missouri vs. Maggie Ybarra and Michael Hendricks for murder after foster teen reports abuse *GUILTY*

FBI returns Friday to Grain Valley property where remains of missing woman were found

Investigators from the FBI on Friday will spend a second day gathering evidence at a property in unincorporated Jackson County where the body of a missing woman was found last week.

Aubry had been reported missing in Independence after relatives lost contact with her since October. Her last known address was in Kansas City, Kansas.

Court records show the homeowner, Michael J. Hendricks, 40, is identified as the homeowner. Hendricks and his girlfriend Maggie Ybarra, 30, were the primary subjects of the investigation that led police to find Aubry’s body in Hendricks’ yard.

Hendricks and Ybarra were investigated by authorities in April after a 13-year-old girl who was in foster care told police she was sexually assaulted by them and shown pictures of a dead woman.

if you look at google earth at the property, they found her at the place on the property where it looks like rocks or similar were at and now they are digging at another place of ground disturbance. Image date is listed as 4/10/2021 1 is where they found Kinsie and 2 is where they went back to dig.

This place has a helicopter hanger!!!

this shows a helicopter view of the current (2) dig and more disturbing info.

"She was a good girl. But you know, people take the wrong turn," Cindy Aubry said. "You get hold of the wrong crowd. And you get mixed up in drugs and that's exactly what's the whole situation."

Originally from Pearland Texas, outside of Houston, Kensie left in 2019 and moved to the Kansas City metro with some friends with hopes of a fresh start.

"You get introduced to somebody that you know, you think is OK, and I guess they're not," Cindy Aubry said.

Aubry spoke with her mother on Oct. 7, 2020.

Her mother did not know at the time that it would be the last time they ever spoke.

looking through casenet, both Kensie and Ybarra lived in the exact same apartment complex. They both have landlord complaints from it, but different years, but I would guess that is how they knew each other, whether it was from both living there at the same time or through having friends in the same circles from that apartment complex or near.

Yeah that's not really a farm.

I saw that. ;)

MSM must be glossing right over it though. I am curious about the details because it reminds me of the Sydney Loofe case.
especially when her address is listed as that propety which makes me wonder if it was both of them that were fostering the kids and where was she when all of this was happening.

Trial date changed for Grain Valley couple charged with murder after body found on property

The couple accused of killing a Kansas City, Kansas woman and allegedly burying her body is trying to get a change of venue for the trial.

After Ibarra’s public attorney asked the judge set a new trial date for July 25, 2022.

During the hearing, Greg Watt, Hendricks’ attorney filed a motion for a change of venue. He said media coverage could make it difficult to find an impartial jury.

While maintaining his client’s innocence, he told the judge this area hasn’t seen a case like this in a long time and many people have heard about it on social media and the news.

The state argued that the burden is on the defense and the defense doesn’t have enough facts to justify this case being tried outside of Jackson County.

The judge is taking the motion to change venues under advisement. She did not decide at Tuesday’s hearing.

Trial for woman, man accused of murdering Kensie Aubry delayed until 2023

The trial for a man and woman accused of murdering Kensie Renee Aubry has been delayed until 2023.

Hendrick's and Ybarra's jury trial was set to begin July 25, 2022.

However, an attorney for Hendricks filed a motion to withdraw on January 21, 2022 due to a conflict of interest.

That motion was granted January 23.

In early February, the judge granted a continuance and rescheduled the trial so Hendricks' new attorney could have adequate time to prepare.

Since Hendricks and Ybarra are co-defendants and jointly indicted, Ybarra's trial was delayed as well.

Currently the trial is scheduled to begin February 6, 2023 at 9 a.m.
