Bernard Madoff says he is dying and is asking a judge for compassionate release from prison, where he is serving 150 years for orchestrating the largest Ponzi scheme in history, according to a Wednesday federal court filing.

Madoff, 81, has terminal kidney failure and a life expectancy of less than 18 months. When the court sentenced him, “it was clear that Madoff’s 150-year prison sentence was symbolic for three reasons: retribution, deterrence, and for the victims,” the court filing states. “This Court must now consider whether keeping Madoff incarcerated … is truly in furtherance of statutory sentencing goals and our society’s value and understanding of compassion.”

Madoff said in the request for compassionate release that he “does not dispute the severity of his crimes.”

After wedding anesthesiologist Amjad Mohammed Khan in an arranged marriage, Siddiqui had two sons and a daughter in 1996, 1998 and 2002.

What's wrong with electric stoves?

I don't like them. Here is the first place I've lived where I have had electric. They are harder to regulate the burners and the ovens cook unevenly and something isn't done. You check just a few minutes later and it's burned.

This will not go over well with the pro, either. As for household emissions, they make this cool thing called an exhaust fan. I can see why they would not be desired in a densely populated apt complex though. By reading their excuses, these are the very people of why they probably shouldn't have them in apartments. Too many stupid people that the responsible ones have to exist with.
