AMBER Alert issued for 12-year-old girl reportedly abducted by stepbrother in northeast Ohio​

An AMBER Alert has been issued for an abducted 12-year-old girl in northeast Ohio early Monday morning.

The North Royalton Police Department in Cuyahoga County is looking for Tessa Kozelka. Police described Kozelka as white, 5'2" tall and weighing about 100 pounds. She has hazel eyes and black hair.

Kozelka was last seen wearing a red hooded sweatshirt with black writing on it. Kozelka also has a birthmark on her right leg that is about the size of a fifty-cent piece.

The Ohio Attorney General's Office said she was taken by her stepbrother, 23-year-old Micey Stiver. Stiver is described as white, 5'8" tall, 170 pounds and has blue eyes and black hair.

The Attorney General's office said the incident happened around 2 a.m. on state Route 82 and Deer Creek Drive in North Royalton, which is about 20 miles south of Cleveland.

Stiver is driving a 2012 Ford Focus with an Ohio license plate number of N697141.

Amber Alert issued after 12-year-old girl goes missing with 23-year-old man​

The North Royalton Police Department has issued an Amber Alert for a missing 12-year-old girl.

According to police, Tessa Kozelka left with 23-year-old Micey Stiver at 2 a.m. on Monday.

The duo was last seen on State Route 82 in North Royalton.

On April 4, 2022 at 2:00 AM, Subject Tessa Kozelka, a 12 yr old, white female, 5'02, 100 lbs, with hazel eyes, and blk hair left with her "boyfriend" Micey Stiver. Last seen wearing a red hooded sweatshirt with black writing on it. Micey Stiver, also her stepbrother, is a 23 yr old, white male, 5'08, 170 lbs, blue eyes, and blk hair. Driving a gray 2012 Ford Focus, with Ohio registration N697141. The incident took place in Cuyahoga County, OH on State Route 82 / Deer Creek Dr in the city of North Royalton 44133.
 
"Boyfriend". She is 12 and he is way off base no matter if the 12 year old acts more or less mature than her age.

Hopefully she will be found safe, it doesn't sound necessarily like a situation where she was taken against her will even though she is a minor and it isn't up to her. I pray that's the case and no harm comes to her.

Unreal. Think it said he is a stepbrother. I don't know more so I'll leave it at that except to say he apparently isn't a stranger.

I find it hard to imagine that it was even "oversight". She has several FB pages. One of which she posted that she was in love with him / her "husband", over a year ago.

An aunt (I believe) has said that they "knew". Seems like it was treated more like "you (10-11 year old girl) shouldn't be doing that", not "you (perverted 20-something) should stay away from children".

Thank God. Let's hope he stays in jail. She needs to be away from him and of course we don't know, but probably away from whatever environment she is in...
