Quoting myself for reference, I wonder if her helmet or Camelbak was the personal item they found. I didn't know what a Camelbak was until now (well I've seen them but I didn't know what they were called). So for those of you who don't know what a Camelbak is... It's a small backpack, that holds water in the back, and has a long straw attached that allows for hands free hydration.

Not sure why they wait this long to ask for such sometimes. Interesting that they want it from the 8th through the 12th...

Again, it sounds like a jurisdiction that isn't used to these kinds of things. We read about missing cases every day. In the meantime, the small jurisdictions are dealing with their normal routine of problems.

I grew up in a small community, Bishop where the first missing person I've ever heard of happened in the case of Karlie Guse. I live in a small community now. It's just different when you're not dealing with major crime on a daily basis.

Sometimes in small communities, they also wait for info from the "grapevine". it's kind of like a built-in tips hotline

Oh I get that, although here the state and feds are involved, but my remark is more meant as concern and not to bash LE because after following the Kelsey Berreth case, I found that some systems record over and on top of every week or so many days and just hope they did not wait too long here because I hope they find her. They were fortunate enough in that case to find some but I wonder what more may have existed that perhaps was not saved. I live(d) in small areas too. I simply hope that they get all of the evidence they can so she can be located.

After watching Linda on It's a Crime's latest YouTube on this case, I think she was abducted. I think that the reason the neighbors were asked to keep a vigil was because something hinky was going on. Who was involved is up in the air, but I think that she thought she had a stalker or something.

Why do I keep getting the image of "Misery" going through my head?
That's scary. Do you mean the King thriller and movie with Kathy Bates in it? I see no connection here but just thinking of that movie puts fear in me. I keep getting the Dulos case vibes...
