Originally, London Fog was known as Londontown. London Fog was and is known for very high quality, expensive, brand name outerwear, especially raincoats. Still digging to see if Londontown by Checkpoint was associated with them, maybe a less expensive price point.

The clothing kind of interests me too. I know London Fog. I don't know how California was in the 70s but stores in general elsewhere sold certain brands and if you wanted something a bit higher end, you generally had to go to a certain store. Of course that may not have been the case at all in Cali. The Taiwan shoes...

The scar? Hard to say. She could have just come down on something as it is below the kneecap. The edge of something... Could be from a knife or a skate blade as you mentioned. I am thinking that is more a mark hoping someone can identify her is why it is mentioned... Hoping someone with a missing daughter, etc. puts together a piece of clothing and the scar to think maybe this is her...?

I did not know "London Fog" was originally called that. Yes. They were high quality. Thanks for the info. That's interesting.
