Raelynn Cowen was abducted from a bus stop on U.S. 60 West in Ledbetter, Kentucky, by 31-year-old Corey Cowen.

Amber Alert issued for 8-year-old girl abducted from bus stop in western Kentucky​

An Amber Alert was issued Friday night for an 8-year-old western Kentucky girl abducted from a bus stop.

According to the alert, Raelynn Cowen was abducted from a bus stop on U.S. 60 West in Ledbetter, Kentucky, by 31-year-old Corey Cowen. He reportedly abducted Cowen after assaulting her grandparent.

Corey Cowen was last seen leaving the area in a gold Chevy C25 with license plate number A9B240, with a silver tool box in the truck bed. It is believed he could be headed westbound on U.S. 60 toward Paducah, Kentucky.

Kentucky State Police canceled the alert around 10 p.m. EDT on Friday night, saying both the victim and suspect were located.

Kentucky State Police canceled the alert around 10 p.m. EDT on Friday night, saying both the victim and suspect were located.
