The National Missing and Unidentified Persons System database lists the 22-year-old as going missing on June 1, 1997, but very little else is known about the case. There aren’t any agencies or news stations that have provided additional information, making tracing the circumstances surrounding the disappearance a difficult feat.

What has been reported is that Michelle Chrysler was in Gary, Indiana, when she vanished, but she wasn’t from the area. It was stated that Michelle was “visiting” the area but was from Minnesota, however, as in many of these cases, information about her personal life is unknown. There weren’t any details to be found suggesting why Michelle was in Indiana, whether it be for leisure, to visit relatives, or as a work-related trip.
