New Hampshire man last seen hiking in White Mountains still missing nearly 40 years later

It's been nearly 40 years since a man from Twin Mountain went missing and what happened to him remains a mystery.

It's been nearly 40 years since a man from Twin Mountain went missing and what happened to him remains a mystery.

Investigators said Michael Miller, 22, was last seen hiking Mount Lafayette.

He was reported missing on Oct. 23, 1983.

He was last seen wearing a black leather jacket, tan sweater, blue jeans, hiking boots and a silver and black wristwatch, according to the National Missing and Unidentified Persons System.

Today, Miller would be 61 years old.
