  • Race White
  • Age 19 years old
  • Height and Weight 5'4, unknown weight
  • Clothing/Jewelry Description A green and white sweater, light green slacks and high-top Pony sneakers. Carrying a red cloth purse.
  • Distinguishing Characteristics Caucasian female. Brown hair, brown eyes. Floyd has a slender build.
Floyd was last seen at her job at Hancock Fabrics in Tupelo, Mississippi on April 18, 1988. She got a phone call at work and left the store crying at 9:30 a.m. She has never been heard from again. Her vehicle was found at a Mighty Mart gas station on west Main Street the day after her disappearance.

Floyd left behind a one-year-old daughter and her mother does not believe she would have willingly abandoned the child. She resided in the 1000 block of Chickasaw Trail in Tupelo in 1988.

Her grandmother died in 2009 and, in her obituary, it was noted that Floyd predeceased her. Her case remains unsolved.

My first thought is the baby daddy/ex BF/ex-husband.

My second thought is where was SK Larry D. Hall in April 1988. She resembles many of his other victims in facial structure, build, and hair color. He had a "type", so much so that police investigating disappearances of young women referred to the victims as "one of Larry's girls/presumed to be one of Larry's" after Hall was arrested. Mississippi figured prominently in the Civil War. Hall was a CW re-enactor who was drawn to battlefield sites and general areas where battles had taken place nearby. In many stunning not coincidences, women and teen girls fitting the "type" seemed to go missing at the time of reenactments or when he was later known to be in the same area.

His type was athletic, slim build with usually dark hair, about 5 ft.2 to 5 ft 6 in height, and a lot of his victims have the same face shape. When I encountered him on the Purdue campus as a college student, he apparently decided I was a little too curvy and slightly too tall to meet his criteria.

My third thought is the SK that was operating in Louisiana that was arrested decades later. He was from St. Francisville or near there.
Arianna Vaul is missing from LA.

Interesting scenario about Hall. I don’t think I’m familiar with his case? I certainly don’t remember there being a serial killer that went to Civil War reenactments. Every single one of these asks are so creepy.
