Bowen was last seen in the area of Parsons and Stewart Avenues in Columbus, Ohio on April 10, 2014. She was walking from her sister's home to her parents' residence a few blocks away. She has never been heard from again.

Bowen's family stated they didn't believe she would have left without telling them; they fear she was a victim of human trafficking. She left behind two children.

Her disappearance may be connected to the disappearances of Megan Lancaster, Holly Logan, Wanda Lemons and Charlotte Trego, and the deaths of Tameka Lynch and Tiffany Sayre. Some of the women had places and people in common, and all were involved with drugs.

There's speculation that a serial killer could be behind the disappearances and deaths, but no suspects have been named in any of the cases. They remain unsolved.

For some reason, I don't remember Jayme as being part of the Chillicothe group. Then again, I haven't been keeping up with the girls' cases in a long time. :(

Unyielding hope: Ten years later, mother remains optimistic in search for missing daughter
Ten years after a young mother of two vanished without warning from south Columbus, her family continues to work to bring her home.

"I still don't give up, and I still feel she is out there," said Nancy Bowen, whose daughter Jayme disappeared on April 10, 2014 while walking to a family member's home in the Merion Village area.

Nancy Bowen reminded daily of her daughter's disappearance.

If you go to the grocery store, you see a blonde-haired girl, you stop your cart, chasing that girl through the store to look," said Bowen. "They think you are crazy, but you are always on edge thinking this will be your lucky day."

Bowen is now raising the oldest of her daughter's two sons.

"He is so smart," says Bowen. "He makes good grades."

Bowen no longer believes her daughter's case is linked to several women who vanished around the same time Jayme did, but Nancy is now wondering if Jayme has become a human trafficking victim.

"I heard things," said Bowen.

ABC 6 contacted Columbus Police on Tuesday to get an update on Jayme Bowen's missing person's case, but we have not heard back from CPD.

Bowen says she too is waiting for answers from police.

They don't have any more leads," said Bowen. "They said more or less it's a cold case right now, no new information."

Jayme Bowen's case is included in the Ohio Attorney General's missing persons registry. Friends and family have created a Facebook page seeking tips to bring Jayme home and have held several vigils and balloon launches.

A prayer vigil commemorating the 10th anniversary of Jayme's disappearance is planned for this weekend at Schiller Park.

Nancy Bowen says she won't give up until she gets answers.
