Eddy Segall, 28, was reported missing on June 15, 1977, after she failed to return a borrowed vehicle.

Officials said Segall borrowed the vehicle daily to attend an exercise class at Women's World in Merrimack, but she didn't make it to class that day.

The car she was driving, a light green, two-door 1969 Oldsmobile, was found July 3, 1977, deep in the woods off Wheeler Road in Hollis, in the area near Parker Pond. The keys were found 150 feet behind the vehicle in the middle of the road.

Hollis Police Lt. James Sartell told WMUR in 2010 that officials were basically starting from scratch when investigating the case.

"Yeah, this is extremely hard. This is very cold. You don't have a body. You're dealing with a crime scene that's really unknown," Sartell said.

Segall had moved to Nashua from Florida just a few months prior to her disappearance.

"To just be gone -- here one day, gone the next type of thing -- with absolutely no fanfare, to me, it's profoundly sad," Sartell said.

She was described as having dark brown hair and hazel eyes. She was 5 feet, 1 inch tall and weighed about 118 pounds.

She was last seen wearing blue jeans, a white tank top jersey and rubber shower sandals and was carrying a brown shoulder-type pocketbook.
