Details of Disappearance
Doris Mulhern was last seen on March 5, 1987 at the Stevenson Motel at 33330 Pacific Hwy South. Her boyfriend stated that he dropped Mulhern off at a local mall at about 3:00 PM to do some shopping. She never returned. Both were transient from Michigan and had been traveling the country together for about 2 years. Mulhern had stayed out all night in the past and had an arrest in Colorado a year earlier. The motel was commonly used by prostitutes and in an area often frequented by the Green River Killer. Mulhern was known to have lived a very high risk life-style including prostitution.
