I just realized isn't this one three years later? I was under the impression it was near in time to the other two men.

Another area murder though unsolved right?

Yes, David Grubbs was killed in November 2011. It's still unsolved although I believe a POI was named several years back.

Who would be the POI generally speaking and motive do you know?

Meaning friend or foe or stranger, random, reason for it, etc.?

All three of these cases would also be in different jurisdictions wouldn't they? Dave's I'd imagine is the county he's in? Troy's is that a different county or even in city limits since there's a Pilot right there? So either way a different jurisdiction? And David's here would be the City of Ashland PD right? Although on charging cases go from city to county prosecutor, at least in our state they do.

I would need to reread the articles to remember who exactly was named. It's been awhile.

Dave & Troy's cases are held by the Jackson County Sheriff's Office, the Pilot is outside Central Point city limits, and David Grubbs case is held by the Ashland Police Department. All three cases would be prosecuted by the county.

Makes sense and is what I thought. Just wasn't sure if the Pilot was in or out of city limits. My main reason for asking is because cases can be harder to work when different jurisdictional agencies but taht shouldn't be much of an issue here then. I also wasn't sure that Troy's may not have been over a county line from David's. Thanks.

Christian Delaurentiis is a man that used to live in Ashland sometime ago. He moved to Washington County, Oregon and was since charged with and convicted of murdering his roommate in Aloha in Washington County,” said Ashland Police Deputy Chief Tighe O’Meara

According to Washington County Senior Deputy District Attorney Jeff Lesowski, Delaurentiis pleaded guilty to one count of aggravated murder and another count of abuse of a corpse. It’s been agreed to that Delaurentiis will be sentenced to life in prison for murdering and dismembering his roommate in Aloha, Oregon back in May 2012.

However, before that in November of 2011, detectives believe Delaurentiis was in the Ashland area when Grubbs was killed.

They probably have behind the scenes evidence that DeLaurentiis committed this crime, but not enough for a sure conviction in this case. If he ends up getting out on a technicality for the Aloha murder, this case might end up in court.

This is from yesterday, there was a blurb about the case on the local news this morning.

From your link-

However, now Ashland Police have publicly named a person of interest for the first time since 2011.

32-year-old Christian Delaurentiis, is a man who is familiar to Ashland detectives still working to find Grubbs’ killer.

“Christian Delaurentiis is a man that used to live in Ashland sometime ago. He moved to Washington County, Oregon and was since charged with and convicted of murdering his roommate in Aloha in Washington County,” said Ashland Police Deputy Chief Tighe O’Meara

However, before that in November of 2011, detectives believe Delaurentiis was in the Ashland area when Grubbs was killed.

“There’s been several people that we’ve had a good hard look at,” said O’Meara.

One of them is Christian Delaurentiis, who until now has not been publicly named a person of interest in the Grubbs case.

I'm thinking it's unrelated to DeLaurentiis 🤔

Trying to see if this copies ok. Yes it does. Just click on the small image and the map comes up to view and enlarge. It looks like he was halfway home when the attack happened. Full link at the bottom.
