On October 9, 1995 the New York State Police in Brewster, NY were called to the scene of a deceased male located in a wooded area adjacent to the Garden Street School, Oak Street, in the Village of Brewster. This subject appeared to be a dark skinned Hispanic male who had committed suicide. To date, SP Brewster case 95-241 has, despite a thorough investigation, failed to identify this subject and thus notify his surviving family. This man committed suicide.

Located on October 9, 1995 in Brewster, Putnam County, New York.

Approximate Height and Weight: 5'9 1/2"; 160 lbs.
Distinguishing Characteristics: Dark skinned Hispanic male. His hair was black and was graying on the sides with a receding hairline. He had brown eyes. He had a mole on the right side of his nose. Shaved under arms. Clean shaven.
Clothing: Haggar Casuals tan pants, size 33x30; Kenneth Gordonshirt, green/black/yellow plaid, button with long sleeves; Gentleman's Row, blue/green/red plaid, button with long sleeves; blue briefs underwear, and brown leather Dockers penny loafers, size 9M. Gold chain (necklace) with a gold crucifix (1.5" x .75"). There was $1,158 separated in multiple pockets.

I wondered the same thing. It's an interesting case, as here's a guy who seems very well put-together and with some means. Not the usual John Doe. One would think someone would know the man or report that he's gone. Any knowledge on how they know he was in New Rochelle and took the train? Did he live in the Brewster area? If not, why pick that place as where you'd end it all?

I have to wonder if the last people to see him think he's happy and thriving somewhere else? Maybe he was planning on moving?
