Brandon Francisco, the man who killed Ella Goodie, will spend the rest of his life behind bars.
Francisco was sentenced to the life term in U.S District Court in Lake Charles Tuesday afternoon. He pleaded guilty Nov. 13 to committing a carjacking resulting in death, with Francisco stipulating to a binding and mandatory sentence of life in prison.
In pleading guilty, Francisco admitted to carjacking Goodie, an Uber and Lyft driver and mother of two children from Scott, in 2022 and killing her.
