Despite intensive enquiries both in the UK and abroad, the creation of an image of this face through forensic reconstruction technology, the man remains unidentified. Police Scotland detective inspector Stephen Bell, in a renewed appeal for information, said: “Someone, somewhere may hold a memory that could give us the breakthrough.” The body was found on December 20, 2010, by a couple out walking at Burnside Plantation near Canonbie, just north of the Border with England, and was thought to have been lying there for up to a month. --- A copy of La Repubblica, an...
Skeletal remains of woman 18-35 found in Angel Meadows, Manchester in January of 2010. She was a Caucasian woman aged 18-35 and between 51 and 57 in height. She was discovered with a distinctively patterned pinafore style dress, wearing a blue bra, and a blue jumper. A black high-heeled shoe was also found. A white plastic Guinness measuring chart, thought to be used in pubs, was also uncovered along with a long off-cut of an orange carpet. She was murdered sometime between 1960 and 2009 (based on the clothing I am assuming closer to 1960). And some more recent information about the case: Carpet clue after woman's skeleton found in Manchester http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/uk_news/england/manchester/8538095.stm...
