    Runaway Helpline

Runaway Helpline has been supporting young people for many years and is run by Missing People. Until now, Runaway Helpline has supported young people who need our help on the phone 116 000, by text and via email; 116000@runawayhelpline.org.uk but today we’re launching our new online1-2-1 Chat support service just for young people.

We know that sometimes it can be difficult for young people to pick up the phone and speak to someone about how they’re feeling. Wanting to run away from home can be difficult to put into words and some young people might find it easier to write it in a message. At Runaway Helpline we already support young people who contact us through text or email but for the first time we will be able to stay with them on a chat and have a full conversation about what’s going on for them and how they’re feeling. They won’t have to wait for our response because we’ll be right there with them.
