When Jane's car was found, it was closer to her home in Magnolia than it was to the clubs she had been to that night.

McDonald-Crone's blue 1982 Ford Mustang with Texas license plates numbered FXY-01G was discovered abandoned near the intersection of FM 2920 and Roberts Cemetery Road on November 16, 1993, two days after she disappeared. The vehicle was parked just three blocks from her residence in Magnolia.

This article states that Jane's car was found at the intersection of FM2920 (Waller-Tomball Rd.) and Roberts Cemetery Rd., just three blocks from her residence in Magnolia.

This article is not correct. Jane's car was found on Decision Dr. near the intersection of Roberts Cemetery Rd. in Hockley, Texas. This was not three blocks from Jane's home. Jane lived about three miles from the car's location, off of Nichols Sawmill Road in Magnolia, Texas.

On November 12, 1993, Jane McDonald-Crone left her home near Magnolia, Texas, for her job at a tool company in Houston. She did not return to her home or to her workplace after leaving work that evening. Crone's 1982 blue Ford Mustang, Texas license number FXY-01G was found four days later, in southwest Montgomery County, Texas, a few miles from her home. Her purse and identification were not found.

There were no signs of violence.
