    Help locate pregnant Barberton teen

Akron Police have issued a warrant for the arrest of Louis J. Jakab III, 33, of North Royalton for interference with custody.

Jakab is with Annalys Clay, 14, of Barberton who is entered as a missing runaway in September. She is also pregnant.

Annalys was in her mother’s car when she began assaulting her. The mother stopped the car on I76 near Route 59. Annalys jumped out and got into Jakab’s car. The pair fled in either a black Audi or a silver 2005 Cadillac STS with a possible plate of HAA8369.

Barberton Police report that Jakab is the cousin of Annalys mother.

UPDATE: Warrant issued for man believed to be with missing 14-year-old girl

Police say Jakab is with Annalys Clay, of Barberton, who they say is a pregnant 14-year-old who has been entered as a missing person.

On Dec. 3, Clay was in her mother’s vehicle on the expressway when Akron police say the teen began assaulting her mom, who pulled the car to the side of the road.

At that time, Jakab pulled behind them and Annalys got into his vehicle. They then took off in an unknown model black Audi.

Akron police say it appears this was a planned encounter between the teen and Jakab.

They could also be in a silver 2005 Cadillac STS, possible plate of HAA8369.

Soooo, apparently Annalys' mom has an arrest warrant out for her. She LIED about where Annalys was last seen.

Annalys was ACTUALLY last seen at a Sheetz gas station in Strongsville, Ohio. Mom reported that she disappeared in Akron, Ohio, about 35 miles away.

Very concerning. Also double concerning that Jakab is believed to be the father of her baby. And triple concerning that Jakab has a MANSLAUGHTER conviction...

Mom of missing 14-year-old Ohio girl charged with filing false report

Ten days after her daughter was last seen, the mother of a 14-year-old Ohio girl was arrested for allegedly making a false report.

Helena Clay was arrested Thursday morning and charged with one count of making a false police report, U.S. Marshals told WJW. No other details about her arrest were immediately released.

“She claims she went with her daughter and they went to Strongsville to meet her cousin for some unknown reason. And that the three of them drove to a gas station together, the Sheetz gas station in Strongsville. She says she got out of the car to walk inside to get snacks and drinks for everybody and the two of them took off,” Deputy U.S. Marshal Bill Boldin told WEWS.
